PokerStars Superstock TT winner Bruce Anstey is already ready for more success.

Fresh from a stunning performance in the four-lap Superstock race, the New Zealander said his Relentless Suzuki by TAS machine for tomorrow's Supersport race is in good order.

He said:

'That's looking really good. The bike is feeling good and I'm looking forward to that one.'

Anstey beat John McGuinness home to take victory in the Superstock. The win helped make up for failing to complete a single lap in Monday's Superbike event, which was won by McGuinness.

Mechanical problems saw Anstey retire from the Superbike race, but he made up for it in today's race.

A delighted Bruce Anstey after the raceHe set a new lap record for Superstocks on lap one - 128.297mph - and increased that to 128.349mph on the second lap before heading into the pits.

He admitted the result had helped him over some of Monday’s disappointment.

Anstey said:

‘I was a bit disappointed after yesterday, I didn’t get very far! I haven’t had much luck with the Superbike race, but it all turns around for the Superstock.’
‘The bike was handling quite well, I just got my head down.’
‘The bike seems to be going faster and faster.’

Anstey’s Kiwi fans around the TT course helped him to victory, he revealed.

He said:

‘I can hear them screaming, I can hear the accents. There’s a load of them over here and it is good to see them out there.’

McGuinness’ HM Plant Honda teammate Ian Hutchinson finished third in the PokerStars Superstock race, the same position he managed in Monday’s Superbike.
